Southern California Health Care Careers

When you join Kaiser Permanente Southern California, you’re part of a diverse organization focused on helping our members, our communities, and our health care professionals. You can see this across our teams and our facilities. In fact, six of our Southern California hospitals have earned Magnet recognition which is the highest recognition for nursing excellence. Also, to give you a voice in decision making, we’re structured in Unit Based Teams (UBTs) that allow everyone to collaborate and improve care while also working on performance improvement projects. Whether you’re looking to excel in your current career or grow into a new one, here you’ll have access to exceptional training and development programs.

How you can join us:

Appointment Clerk

As the first point of contact for many patients, you’ll help schedule their appointments, transfer them to the correct department and provide critical information to begin their care. This will involve receiving calls from members seeking care as well as reaching out to offer services provided by Kaiser Permanente.

Diagnostic Imaging

As a diagnostic imaging technologist, you’ll work closely with physicians and play an important role in care. This will include ensuring patients are safe and comfortable during non-invasive procedures that produce detailed images of the body to help diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses. As an interventional radiologist, you’ll use X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging technologies to see inside the body and guide small instruments to diagnose and treat medical conditions, with precision.

See Opportunities

Emergency Department Nursing

As part of our emergency department nursing team, you’ll work directly with patients to provide empathetic care in a care environment that’s constantly changing. You’ll have opportunities for advanced training, such as CETT (simulation training), while working with different entities across the system for continuity of care.

Environmental Services

Now more than ever, a clean environment is important to the health of our patients, our teams, and our communities. Your skills will ensure that our facilities maximize sanitation no matter the setting — an operating room, an emergency room, or a medical office building.
