Essential Responsibilities:
- Pursues effective relationships with others by proactively providing resources, information, advice, and expertise with coworkers and members. - Completes work assignments autonomously by applying up-to-date expertise in subject area to generate creative solutions; ensures all procedures and policies are followed; leverages an understanding of data and resources to support projects or initiatives. Collaborates cross-functionally to solve business problems; escalates issues or risks as appropriate; communicates progress and information. Supports, identifies, and monitors priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Identifies, speaks up, and implements ways to address improvement opportunities for team.
- Supports facility access control plan by: adhering to guidelines for facilities access control, including key control, ID badge management, controlling access to specific areas, locking and unlocking doors, providing emergency and after hours access as appropriate, providing escorts to sensitive areas, traffic control, and vendor/patient/visitor/personnel access management; and complying with access control plan.
- Complies with safety and security policies and procedures by: using comprehensive, foundational knowledge of safety and security laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards; as appropriate, participating in training programs for area security staff; participating in the execution of department policies; and learning to apply safety and security knowledge and training.
- Minimum one (1) year experience establishing and managing threat management projects/programs.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a role supporting senior leadership, optimizing projects/programs through continuous improvement to effectively align people (staffing), processes, and technology.
- Minimum one (1) year project or program management experience.
- Associates degree in Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Public Policy, Healthcare Management, Criminal Justice, Corporate Security, Security Management, or related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in Security Management, Hospital Security, Law Enforcement Management, or a directly related field OR Minimum four (3) years of experience in Security Management, Hospital Security, Law Enforcement Management, or a directly related field.
- Drivers License (in location where applicable)
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): N/A
· Certified Threat Manager (CTM)
· Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, and related fields
- One (1) experience providing evidence-based, data-driven behavioral threat assessment and management case assessment and management consultation services.
- One (1) year experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements.
- Membership in Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) or similar professional organization.
- Two (2) years facilitating meetings with work teams or management.
- Two (2) years experience using structured professional judgment approach to behavioral threat assessment and management practice.
- One (1) year experience developing and communicating strategy and aligning projects, initiatives, and resources to execute against the strategy.
- One (1) year experience in program transformation initiatives.
- Membership in the International Security Management Association (ISMA), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), or other Criminal Justice/Public Safety organizations.
- One (1) year experience working with intermediate Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Adult CPR/AED Certification.
