- Work schedule may be adjusted to accommodate department needs.
- This position includes a rotational assignment on the Ultrasound stand-by list.
- Currently, the work schedule for this position is: Monday - Friday - Varied hours.
- The Senior position provides functional direction to staff by assigning work, providingtimely feedback to management regarding operational problems and personnel issues, communicates effectively with other departments to promote positive inter-departmental relationships and demonstrates organizational skills and creativity in resolving operational issues within the department.
Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification or registry eligible.
- If registry eligible, must take and pass registry within one (1)year of hire date.
- Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasound program.
- CPR (BLS-C) (must be obtained during the probationary period).
- Competency in components of sonography as appropriate.
- Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a major medical center.
- Experience with Acuson Sequoia and McKesson PACS archival system.
