Senior Dental Service Care Experience Consultant Portland, OR



Description

Develop and deliver service training consistent with Regional Service and Service Excellence work and provide service training. Utilize patient survey data to inform service planning and educate and communicate managers and staff to effectively utilize service data.Facilitate groups on service improvement; assist with service improvement planning. Reports to Senior Director of Dental Care Delivery.

Essential Functions:
- Partner with Dental Program leaders and the leaders of KPNW Service Excellence to create training and development plans, assess Dental service training needs, and identify the appropriate service curriculums for Dental staff/dentists. Deliver service training curriculum and service training to Dental individuals and teams. Deliver other training as assigned. Utilizing Press Ganey patient satisfaction survey data, identify key service improvement opportunities for the Dental Program and assist with developing improvement plans.
- Consult with and coach managers, supervisors and unit-based team leaders to assess their current service, create action plans, and evaluate performance (individually and as a group). Facilitate these conversations with leadership and intact work teams. Coach managers/supervisors and staff to develop these skills and put them in to practice.
- Support KPNW Service Excellence initiatives by participating in the work to define how those efforts are applicable to the Dental Program and planning for their implementation.
- Provides support to Dental Quality Program including QAIC and AAAHC and quality improvement projects.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in providing organizational development and management consulting services.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working with large-scale change efforts.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, business administration or related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
- N/A

Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to provide training and management consulting to a wide variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated understanding and practice of adult learning theory.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in providing organizational development and management consulting services in a dental or health care environment.
- Master's degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, business administration or related field.
