<description><![CDATA[<p class="jobLocation">Req Id:  <span>180598</span></p>Provides technical knowledge and expertise in performing specific tasks required in the fabrication of dental prosthetics.<br/>Essential Functions:<br/>- Interprets dental laboratory prescriptions and prepares materials and supplies needed to accomplish related tasks.<br/>- Job responsibilities may include any of the following: Fabrication of models in preparation for the fabrication of dental appliances, custom trays, baseplates, biterims, templates, mouthgaurds, splints, obturators, festooning, casting, trimming die margins, polishing and communicating with providers specific to their area of responsibility upon authorization by supervisor.<br/>- Provide examples to peer review and keep accurate records. Provide training for subordinate personnel.<br/>- Maintains equipment according to laboratory standards.<br/>- Organizes and maintains work area to a high level of cleanliness in keeping with laboratory standards.<br/>- Meets health and safety standards throughout daily job functions.<br/>- Performs other duties as requested.<br/><br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>Basic Qualifications:<br/>- 2 years experience as a dental technician.<br/>- High school diploma or GED.<br/>- Able to work and communicate well with others. Able to manage word load efficiently. Able to operate and maintain the equipment necessary to do the job. Ability to perform basic job functions.<br/>- Able to read and understand written dental prescriptions. Able to write legibly. Possess the knowledge and skills which reflect the minimum ability to do the work required.<br/>Preferred Qualifications:<br/>- American Dental Association Technical school graduate.<br/>- Certified Dental Technician.<br/>Salary Range:<br/>$19.51 - $23.43]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<p class="jobLocation">Req Id:  <span>180595</span></p>Provides technical knowledge and expertise in performing advanced job functions required in the fabrication of all aspects of dental prosthetics.<br/>Essential Functions:<br/>- Interprets laboratory prescriptions and prepares materials and supplies needed to accomplish related tasks.<br/>- Communicates with providers to assure accurate case planning and quality standards upon supervisions authorization.<br/>- May be assigned to do any or all of the following:<br/>- Fully fabricates all aspects of fixed metal restoration including preparatory work, casting, and finishing; and/or:<br/>- Fully fabricates all aspects of fixed porcelain restorations including custom shades and/or:<br/>- Fully fabricates all aspects of removable acrylic appliances including reline and repair of existing appliances; and/or:<br/>- Fully fabricates all aspects of removable metal framework including repair of existing frameworks; and/or:<br/>- Fully fabricates all aspects of orthodontic appliances including repair of existing appliances.<br/>- Able to place and replace precision attachments.<br/>- Able to fabricate all aspects of appliances in conjunction with implants.<br/>- Maintains equipment according to laboratory standards.<br/>- Organizes and maintains work area to a high level of cleanliness in keeping with laboratory standards.<br/>- Perform other duties as requested<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>Basic Qualifications:<br/>- Five (5) years in related field as a dental technician.<br/>- High school diploma or GED.<br/>- Ability to read and understand a dental prescription.<br/>- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced job functions in the fabrication of dental prosthetics.<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications:<br/>- ADA accredited or technical school graduate, preferred.<br/>- Certified Dental Technician, preferred.<br/>- Able to work in a high production, demand to detail, quality oriented atmosphere, preferred.<br/><br/>Salary Range:<br/>$22.76 - $27.35]]></description>
