<title><![CDATA[Executive Administrative Assistant to the Regional President - (Portland, Oregon)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p class="jobLocation">Req Id:  <span>184609</span></p>Comprehensive support of the NW Regional President in accomplishing business outcomes for the NW Region, includes support of regional and national program goals. Provides complex coordination, and extends the capacity of the Northwest Kaiser Foundation Health Plan/Hospitals President in fulfilling strategic priorities, achieving KPNW performance targets, and promoting systems that enhance Vice President individual performance and leadership development. <title><![CDATA[Business &amp Strategy Manager - (Portland, Oregon)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p class="jobLocation">Req Id:  <span>180110</span></p>The OH Business & Strategy Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, integrating and supporting the business activities of the Occupational Health department including claims, billing, collections and clinical support functions. Business activities include workload recording and productivity measurement; financial assessment; implementing fiscal strategies; driving performance improvement; and activities that support the Occupational Health department's vision and KPNW objectives, goals and strategies. This position also serves as liaison and maintains strong relationship with regional financial, analytical, benefits, and marketing departments, peers in other Kaiser regions, and Health Plan Administration.<br/><br/>Essential Functions:<br/>- Functions as the senior financial & business strategy advisor to the Occupational Health department:<br/>- Assess & monitor business activities for OH clinics, service center, claims, billing & collections functions.<br/>- Plan & develop marketing strategies consistent w/ business plans in collaboration w/ OH leadership & regional marketing sales & business development (MSBD) team.<br/>- Develops strategic pricing policies consistent w/ regional revenue targets & w/in the constraints of the external marketplace.<br/>- Continually assesses external market & analyze changes to state & federal WC fee schedules to inform KP pricing policies.<br/>- Participates in & supports contract discussions & negotiations including MCO agreements.<br/>- Partner w/ OH leadership to create & implement strategic business plans (short & longer term) to ensure ongoing viability of business in support of regional goals & objectives including long range service delivery planning,<br/>- Collaborates w/ OH sales & marketing support team to promote development of new business services including operationalizing charge capture & billing processes.<br/>- NPV preparation, business case development & complex financial modeling to drive sound business decision making.<br/>- Maintains a continuing process to identify, evaluate & implement strategies that maximize profitability, including revenue enhancement & process optimization:<br/>- Develop & maintain the means to assess & report profitability measures for the OH department.<br/>- Administer metric reporting systems including revenue drivers, utilization, service measures, cost accounting & financial reporting to ensure continued fiscal soundness of the OH department.<br/>- Assess financial feasibility of new programs & products.<br/>- Monitor, provide in-depth analysis & forecast OH revenues.<br/>- Coordinate internal automated systems support of all management reporting.<br/>- Review & interpret financial results, working w/ the OH Leadership team to inform decision making.<br/>- Design & administer programs & controls consistent w/ sound business accounting & auditing principles & ensure effective management of OH assets:<br/>- Manage the department revenue collection, billing & other business processes in a manner that protects assets & ensures compliance to policies & regulations.<br/>- Manage financial auditing & monitoring functions.<br/>- Plan & implement changes in business activities resulting from government mandates, legislation & accrediting agencies.<br/>- Responsible for financial & accounting transactions & reporting to Revenue Cycle, General Accounting & Regional Finance departments..<br/>- Coordinates budget & forecast development through multiple departments.<br/>- Acts as the capital committee representative for all projects & capital equipment requests<br/>- Builds long range equipment & project plans to support the OH business per the long range service delivery plan & strategy.<br/>- This job description is not encompassing.<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>Basic Qualifications:<br/>- Five (5) years of experience in fiscal management within a managed health care setting or comparable experience with a business firm routinely doing business in the health care field.<br/>- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.<br/>- MBA, CPA, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.<br/>- Thorough knowledge of business management, accounting principles and fiscal management including auditing skills<br/>- Advanced knowledge of analytic techniques pertinent to planning and finance.
