Kaiser Permanente is looking for an IT Staff Auditor in Oakland.


Essential Functions:
- Responsible for conducting and documenting moderately complex financial and operations audits.
- Prepare working papers documenting and supporting audit procedures and techniques conducted.
- Understand and document business systems and processes using narrative and/or flowcharting techniques.
- Under guidance of Auditor-in-Charge, may prepare audit presentations to management.
- Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Typically less than one year of IT auditing or comparable experience. More experienced staff in this position considered to have 2 years experience.
- General accounting, financial & business skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands & environment, and rapidly develop in-depth knowledge of new audit areas.
- Ability to effectively utilize general audit software such as ACL, AutoAudit, etc.
- Basic project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Ability to utilize Lotus Notes
- Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of equivalent experience

One of the following certifications is strongly preferred:
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
If currently not certified, employee is expected to actively demonstrate progress toward completion of certification within a reasonable time as approved by the VP, Internal Audit Services.
