<description><![CDATA[<p class="jobLocation">Req Id:  <span>181070</span></p>Trainer-Member Services<br/>Kaiser Permanente<br/>Denver, CO<br/>Supports the training manager on the technical and non-technical subject matter. Develops and implements training programs. Ensures measurements are in place to validate training accuracy, comprehension, and effectiveness of training. Interacts with various management teams to ensure ongoing staff development. Coaches and mentors training coordinators. Develops processes and procedures based on findings, recommendations and management approval for the appropriate department and/or business unit. Ensures familiarity with all systems, regulatory, policy and procedure changes and external factors relating to training. Provides feedback to the training manager regarding the development and implementation of strategies to track and communicate the success of quality improvement and training efforts. Ensures training standards are being met by training coordinators. Responsible for becoming product expert by taking the initiative and getting hands-on experience in relevant curriculum applications.<br/><br/>Essential Functions:<br/>- Full use of application of standard principles, theories and techniques.<br/>- Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways.<br/>- Puts forward ideas assertively and directly, providing data to support conclusions.<br/>- Adapts ideas and ties them to the needs and goals of others in order to gain their support and commitment.<br/>- Addresses volume of patient/customer needs by looking at all variables and making decisions based on urgency of specific cases, given time demands and key priorities.<br/>- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of variety of factors.<br/>- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.<br/>- Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.<br/>- Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, platform and interpersonal communication skills.<br/>- Able to interact with various levels of professionals.<br/>- Asks direct questions and listens carefully to responses, restating to clarify understanding.<br/>- Proactively creates opportunities for open, two-way communication with others.<br/>- Communicates thoughts clearly and concisely.<br/>- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.<br/>- Work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy.<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>Basic Qualifications:<br/>- Requires a minimum of three (3) plus years of experience in role/position.<br/>- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience.<br/>- Training certification preferred but not required.<br/>- Intermediate competency in MS Applications and KP technologies.<br/>- Must be able to work in a Labor-Management Partnership environment.<br/>- Able to discuss mission, vision and objectives within own department and unit.<br/>- Describes company philosophy, culture and history.<br/>- Discusses the roles and responsibilities of major business units and department's operating principles and practices.<br/>- Able to identify and discuss key players, key issues and strategies.<br/>- Identifies and discusses client expectations as relevant to own area.<br/>- Monitors and reports on delivery of what was promised.<br/>- Conducts and analyzes of daily problems for trends and take steps to avoid recurrence.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<p class="jobLocation">Req Id:  <span>139703</span></p>Provides support to the Worksite Wellness department by coordinating workforce health activities at the worksite to include scheduling, staffing, implementing, reposting and developing & delivering onsite interventions as appropriate to the employer culture. Builds & fosters professional relationships w/ Worksite Wellness department & employer groups. Maintains & supports a culture of compliance, ethics & integrity. Maintains knowledge of policies & procedures & performs in accordance w/ the Principles of Responsibilities & applicable regulatory requirements, external laws & accreditation standards. Appropriately reports observed fraud or abuse.<br/>Essential Functions:<br/>- Supports Worksite Wellness department & coordinates/ delivers appropriate onsite interventions<br/>- Collaborates w/ Worksite Wellness team members & other internal KP departments to manage & maintain employer relations<br/>- Serves as the wellness coordinator and or health educator in designated worksites<br/>- In addition to defined technical requirements, accountable for consistently demonstrating service behaviors & principles defined by the KP Service Quality Credo, the KP Mission as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives<br/>- Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, & behaviors necessary to provide superior & culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, & to purchasers, contracted providers & vendors<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>Basic Qualifications:<br/>- Minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating and implementing programs, or developing curricula & providing education on a variety of health & wellness activities from prevention to disease management<br/>- bachelor's degree in Health Education, Worksite Wellness, Health Promotion, Public Health or related field<br/>- Attention to detail and highly effective interpersonal communication skills are required to work w/ a diverse range of individuals at all levels of the employer organization<br/>Preferred Qualifications:<br/>- Experience w/ behavior change counseling, stages of change theory & related motivational interviewing skills highly desired]]></description>
