Kaiser Permanente at Super Bowl City
Kaiser Permanente was extremely proud to have been selected as the official Super Bowl 50 Host Committee Medical Team. That is to say, Kaiser Permanente professionals and volunteers provided medical care, expertise, and health information to upwards of one million visitors who attended “Super Bowl City,” a free, nine-day community event held along San Francisco’s waterfront.
A team of 24 Kaiser Permanente emergency and sports medicine physicians and 10 licensed vocational nurses provided medical assistance to attendees of Super Bowl City in the days leading up to the biggest sporting event of the year. Additionally, our sports medicine physicians and other health experts operated one of the more popular attractions, a pavilion called #My2MinuteDrill.
This Kaiser Permanente Fan Experience educated and inspired people to take charge of their own health goals by participating in a series of interactive and educational #My2MinuteDrill activities — from healthy eating to safe exercise techniques — that can be incorporated into their daily lives.
