Building a Dream Playground in Fresno
Our team members embody our commitment to creating and fostering healthy communities. That’s the reason why almost one hundred Kaiser Permanente employees and physicians joined with other community volunteers to build a playground in an underserved area of Fresno — in just six hours.
Kaiser Permanente funded the project and partnered with the nonprofits Kaboom and the Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministry. In 2016, Kaiser Permanente will also fund the building of two other playgrounds in California Central Valley communities where safe places to play are desperately needed.
